Home-Start wants to see a society in which every parent has the support they need to give their children the best possible start in life.
At Home-Start Wakefield & District, we believe that we have an important part to play in making this vision a reality.
Everyone needs a bit of help sometimes. Many parents need help and friendship during those early years when children are young and when things can just feel overwhelming
Home-Start Wakefield & District supports families with at least one child under the age of 12 years who may be dealing with issues such as :
- Isolation
- Illness
- Relationship problems
- Feeling tired and exhausted
- Coping with the demands of having twins or triplets
- Disability
We know that families have different needs. We will help to identify what these are and provide appropriate support.
